Light up the night at our family-friendly Glow Ride on Friday, August 9! Meet us at the Old Capitol at 8:00 PM for a fun, slow-paced community ride through downtown. Deck out your bike, helmet, and yourself in your brightest glow gear—the best-lit bike wins a prize!

Dash Through The Past
Capital City Museum and WalkBike Frankfort are proud to present Dash Through The Past! Join us for an interactive scavenger hunt through town as we discover some of Frankfort’s rich history. Walk or ride through downtown in a fun event for the whole family.
Bring bikes, good walking shoes, or any other forms of transportation other than cars!
The scavenger hunt will be completed using the app Goosechase, which is limited to five users per team. We welcome families to work together, but please note that only five people per team can be registered to participate.
If you would like to participate but don’t have a team, feel free to sign up and we’ll match you with other folks!
Please arrive before 3 PM to sign a waiver for participation.

River Sweep (Cleanup Event)
Hosted by Canoe KY and Frankfort Boat Club: meet at 9 AM at the Frankfort Boat Club Dock. Gloves and bags will be provided. Canoe KY is donating 10 canoes to rent for free, first come first serve. 10 litter pickers will be provided for use by Franklin County Solid Waste. Free lunch at the end of the cleanup provided by Staxx BBQ.

Where:
We will start at the Kings Center and head to Logan St, then to 2nd St. The route is on sidewalks, with adult supervision along the way and at each street crossing.
What to Bring:
Bike, scooter, Skateboard, wheelchair, or your feet if you enjoy walking.
A helmet if you have one (there will be some available at the King Center). Helmets are required for safety/liability.
A bike lock if you have one, but a cable will be used to thread through the bikes and locked for those that don’t own one.
The Plan:
Meet at the King Center for the community ride and have a very brief “Let’s get organized session”. We’ll arrive at Second St. School by 7:30 for breakfast. Everyone will return home individually with their parents.

Join us for our Membership Committee! Our Membership Committee leads the charge for membership recruitment, managing our member database, and organizing volunteer recruitment for projects and event.

First Annual Mother's Day 5K in memoriam for Wanda Casey. Jason Watson has put together a great day, with the recipients being the Helping Hands Food Pantry located in the Capital City Activity Center

Project Planning & Implementation Committee
The Project Planning and Implementation Committee works with local government officials, agencies and task forces to update the network plan, apply for grants, envision trail design, and coordinate with government agencies for signing, roadway resurfacing and striping, roadway reconstruction, new roadways, zoning regulations, subdivision standards, crossing and signal improvements.
